FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Irene Oringa (Ann) Tetu Zilinek, wife of the late Frank J. Zilinek for 64 years and longtime resident of Fairfield, died Monday, Dec. 21, in Bridgeport Hospital. She was 87.
Born in Bridgeport, she was the the daughter of the late Joseph George Tetu and Eva Boisvert Tetu.
She attended Bassick High School and began her career at the Cutlery Company of America in Bridgeport.
She moved on to become an electrical planner at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, where she retired from after 35 years of service.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers William, Arthur, Edward and Joseph.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport and at 11 a.m. at Holy Family RC Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield, for a Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield.
