FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Irene Fleischer of Fairfield died Saturday, Sept. 13. She was 99.
Fleischer was born in Bridgeport, to Louis and Julia Fleischer.
Fleischer is survived by her nephew, Mark Sakowitz (Randy); niece, Gail Cohen (Manny); and six grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and sisters, Margaret Ruben, and Ethel Sakowitz (Norman).
Services will take place Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. directly at Ahavath Achim Cemetery on Reid Street in Fairfield.
