FAIRFIELD, Conn. Helen E. Kamlani of Fairfield died Aug. 25 at Connecticut Hospice of Branford after a battle with cancer. She was 84.
Born in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of James and Jesse Confides. Kamlani was a resident of Fairfield for more than 50 years. She was married to Jeram S. Kamlani Sr., who predeceased her. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Kamlani is survived by three children, Deborah Moss, of Westport, Jotu Kamlani, of Pennsylvania and Jeram S. Kamlani Jr., of Fairfield; a sister, Katherine Quinlan, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Jim Confides.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Spear-Miller Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow at in Lawncroft Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
