Harry J. Peck, 68, Of Fairfield, Worked For Sturm-Ruger

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. - Harry J. Peck of Bloomfield died Sunday, May 19. He was 68.

Peck was born Dec. 1, 1944, in Bridgeport to Harry R. and Rose (Plasko) Peck. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Sturm-Ruger in Fairfield for many years and had most recently been employed at Hartford Compressor as a production planner.

Peck is survived by his wife, Margarita Plaks; sons, Christopher Peck (Gail), of New Milford and Gregory Peck of Waterbury; brother, Richard Peck (Lois), of Seymour; sister, Cheryl Peck of Milford; three grandchildren; mother-in-law, Lyuta Plaks of West Hartford; brother-in-law, Anatoly Plaks (Natasha), of Avon; several aunts, uncles; and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Thursday, May 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford. All other services will be private.
