Francis J. Vincze, 65, Of Fairfield, Vietnam War Veteran

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Francis J. (Frank) Vincze of Fairfield died Saturday, June 22. He was 65.

Vincze was born in Bridgeport, son of Stephen and Mary Keller Vincze, and was an environmental consultant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving with the Marines as a sergeant from 1964 to 1968. He was a member of DAV (Disabled American Veterans), the Marine Corps League, and was the recipient of three Purple Hearts.

Vincze is survived by his wife, Gail Mastronardi Vincze; sons, Frank Jr. and Martin both of Fairfield; brothers, Robert Vincze of Shelton and Stephen (Pete) Vincze of Stratford; sister, Jeanette Kuhn of Shelton; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and siblings,  Mark Vincze, John Vincze, Donna Lee Vincze, Elayne Vincze, and Carol Twigg.

Funeral services will be private with full military honors.
