FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Estelle Chasan Feinstein, formerly of Fairfield, died Jan. 9. She was 91.
Feinstein was born July 22, 1921, in Bridgeport. She lived in Fairfield until 1984, when she and her husband, Jack, retired to Delray Beach, Fla. She moved to Bridgeport in 2007. Feinstein enjoyed cooking, sewing and balancing her checkbook, her family said.
She is survived by a son, Robert Feinstein; a daughter, Jane (Michael) Mahoney; and two grandchildren. Feinstein was predeceased by her husband.
Services will take be at 1 p.m. Friday at Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial will follow at B'nai Israel Cemetery in Monroe, Conn. Family and friends are invited to the Mahoney residence after the service.
