Gyor was born in Bridgeport, daughter of John and Elizabeth O'Neill Jacksics. She was a resident of Fairfield for most of her life. She was a retired legal secretary with several Fairfield attorneys, including the Law Offices of Fitzpatrick & Frey, Trager & Trager, the late John McCarthy, and recently for James Hughes. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Emery's Church.
Gyor is survived by her children, Elizabeth Skojec (Frank), of Naugatuck, Jo-Anne Kozma (Michael), of Fairfield, John Gyor, of Fairfield; additional family; and several friends. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, John.
Calling hours will be Thursday, May 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place Friday, May 17 at 9:15 a.m. in the Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Emery's Church. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
