GREENWOOD, S.C. - Dorothy Grace Curtis of Greenwood died Sept. 10. She was 95.
Curtis was born Oct. 26, 1917, in Bridgeport, daughter of Edward and Grace Stenstream. She graduated from Stratford High School, class of 1935 and the Bayliss School of Business. She worked in the offices of the D.M. Read Co. in Bridgeport before becoming a full time mom. Before retiring to Greenwood, she was a resident of the towns of Stratford (Lordship), Fairfield, and New Milford.
Curtis is survived by her sons, Clifford M. Curtis (Susan) of Portsmouth, R.I., and Wayne B. Curtis (Christine) of Bethel.; daughters-in-law, Alice Ann Curtis of Pasadena, Calif., and Faith Curtis of Holland, Mich.; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger M. Curtis; sons, Alan R. Curtis and Edward A. Curtis; and her granddaughter, Annette Curtis.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Nichols Farm Burial Ground. Trumbull, Conn.
