FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Diane B. Scanlon, of Milford, died Tuesday, Dec. 29. She was 70.
Born in Stamford, the daughter of Winslow and Julia Darling, she had been a Fairfield resident for most of her life.
She graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and retired as a purchasing specialist at Pepperidge Farm.
Survivors include her son, Michael P. Scanlon and his wife Laura of Milford; and six grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, Abigail, Ethan, Christian and Finnegan.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jay Darling.
Friends may greet the family Friday, Jan. 8, from 4-8 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 S. Benson Road, Fairfield.
All other services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main St., Bridgeport, CT 06606.
