FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Diane Marie Kennedy, 61, of Fairfield, formerly of Brooklyn and Old Bethpage, N.Y., died Thursday, April 23.
Kennedy was a daughter of the late Edward Smith and Helen Walczak Smith, and had lived in Fairfield for the last five years.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Christopher Kennedy of Fairfield; one son, Edward (Dina) Ventunelli of Levittown, N.Y.; one daughter, Debra (Justin) Venech of Fairfield; one brother, Robert Smith of Bethpage, N.Y.; one sister, Wendy Schaal of Bethpage, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, April 24, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield.
Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield.
