FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Daniel B. Garlock Sr. of Fairfield died Saturday, July 27. He was 66.
Garlock was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired Union Carpenter for Local 210. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Port 5 naval veterans, a former Boy Scout Leader for Troop 24 and chairman of the Hunting Club of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation.
Garlock is survived by his children, Daniel B. Garlock Jr. of Fairfield and Susan M. Messenger of Wallingford; three grandchildren; sister, Betty McHale, of Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Wendy Kane Garlock.
Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Jacky Durell Pavilion on Fairfield Beach Road, Fairfield. All other services will be private.
