A student at St. Catherine's Academy, McClinch enjoyed swimming at the Westport YMCA and had a great love of all types of music. She spent summers in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, where she enjoyed walks at Ocean Point, fast boat rides with her dad and conducting the Thursday night band concerts at the library.
McClinch also loved to dine out, play basketball and hug her dog, Whitney.
She is survived by her parents, Terrance and Nancy Gorton McClinch; brother Sean McClinch and his wife Kristin of Trumbull; sister Kimberly McClinch of Astoria, N.Y.; paternal grandmother Virginia Daly McClinch of Fairfield; maternal grandmother Anita Grillo Gorton of Stratford; niece and nephew James Finn and Hannah McClinch; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
McClinch was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Arthur McClinch, and maternal grandfather Eugene Gorton.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28 at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, with interment to follow in Nichols Village Cemetery in Trumbull.
