Ann Parry, 83, Lifelong Fairfield Resident

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Ann (Senchak) Parry of Fairfield died Sunday, May 19. She was  83.

Parry was born in Bridgeport to John and Anna (Swatt) Senchak and was a lifelong resident. She was married to Raymond W. Parry. She was a room mother at Riverfield Elementary School and an assistant den mother with the Cub Scouts. She often assisted the Marching Band for their events. She was a supporter of the Fairfield Fire Department.

Parry  is survived by sons, Kevin Parry (Calle Bailey) of Brattleboro, Vt., and Timothy Parry (Ursula) of Bridgeport; daughters, Deborah Liptak (Steve) of Fort Worth, Texas and Maura Cain (John) of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; eight grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; sister, Helen Stochmal of Bridgeport; and family friend, Tom Grega of Fairfield. She was predeceased by her parents; son, James Parry; siblings John and Frank Senchak and Frances King; granddaughter, Melissa Pinion; and great-granddaughter, Ashley Jo Robinson.

Calling hours are Thursday, May 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, in Fairfield Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, May 24 directly at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
