Andrew Orosz, 77, Former Fairfield Resident

TRUMBULL, Conn. - Andrew (Andy) Orosz of Trumbull, formerly of Fairfield, died Tuesday, Nov. 4. He was 77.

Orosz was born Dec. 13, 1936, in Bridgeport, to Andrew and Clara Franko Orosz. He was a veteran of the Korean War and upon his return, attended Sacred Heart University where he graduated with a degree in accounting. He then went on to work at City Trust for 30 plus years where he held numerous positions including loan officer and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a member of the American Legion Post 207 at Middlebrook Farms.

Orosz is survived by his wife, Johanna; children, Chad-Ann Wnukowski (Edmund), of West Palm Beach, Fla., Kim Grosso (Joe), of Fairfield and Andrew Orosz (Heather), of West Simsbury; 16 grandchildren; sisters, Jenny Pall, Helen Terebesi (Steve), and Irene Tew; many cousins; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers-in-law, Andrew Olayos, James Olayos, and Norman Tew; and sister-in-law, Rita Olayos.

Calling hours are Nov. 7 starting at 3 to 6 p.m. at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home at 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Additional services will be held privately.
