FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Andrew J. Fasulo of Fairfield died Tuesday, Sept. 17. He was 88.
Fasulo was a U.S. veteran of World War II. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers and was the recipient of two Purple Heart medals. He was a self employed building contractor who drafted his own house plans. Andy was elected to the Representative Town Meeting and Town Planning and Zoning Commission. He served as fire commissioner and was a longtime member of the Kiwanis Club. He was a lifetime member of the Port 5 Naval Veterans Club and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Fasulo is survived by daughters, Carol F. Brunner of New Fairfield and Nancy Brown (James H.) of Stratford; and three granddaughters. He was predeceased by his wife, Sera Fasulo; daughter, Anna Marie (Henry) Lieberum; and son-in-law, Donald A. Brunner, Jr.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield.
