FAIRFIELD, Conn. Two cars parked outside a King Highway East bar Thursday night had windows broken in burglary attempts, police say. Nothing was taken from either car but about $300 in damage was done to each vehicle.
The two cars were parked outside Sky Hookah Lounge late Thursday night. Both owners told police that, between 10 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., the passenger-side windows of the cars were shattered. No valuables were inside at the time, the owners said.

? Police are looking for a suspect in a shoplifting case that occurred at Rite Aid Pharmacy Wednesday afternoon. Store employees told police that a woman with short blond hair and a neck tattoo, wearing blue jeans and a blue coat, walked into the store and began hiding cosmetics underneath her shirt. She then walked out of the store without paying for the items, got into a black Kia and drove away. Anyone with information should call the Fairfield Police at 203-254-4800.
? A Radio Shack employee scammed the Black Rock Turnpike store out of about $467 in cash over a one-month period, police say. The stores management told police that the man filed phony returns and pocketed the cash six times last month. He admitted to the crime in a written statement, according to the police report, and an arrest warrant is pending.
