FAIRFIELD, Conn. – This week features a series of interesting talks and the opening of a new art exhibit. Here’s a collection of some of the events happening around Fairfield this week.

Tuesday, May 29

Sacred Heart University Creative Media Forum: 6 p.m. Sacred Heart hosts a panel and question-and-answer session featuring media and public relations professionals. Panelists include Vinnie Fusco, general manager of NBC Universal Stamford Media Center; Meryl Moss, founder/president of Meryl Moss Media Relations; Bud Grebey, senior vice president of Maloney and Fox; and Christopher “Kip” Bergstrom, executive director of the Commission on Culture and Tourism. The event is free at the University Commons, 5151 Park Ave.

Wednesday, May 30

History of Woman: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fairfield University’s Thomas A. Walsh Gallery opens its new exhibit featuring the work of local artists and students. The exhibit is on display through June 23 during the normal hours at the gallery, 1073 N. Benson Road.

Health Matters: Culprits of Fatigue: 7 p.m. Holistic healing expert Karen Drena gives a seminar on improving and maintaining healthy energy levels. The event takes place at the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Thursday, May 31

Small Business Strategies: Targeting Success: 7 p.m. The Fairfield Public Library’s series for small business owners features a presentation by life coach Cathy Goldman. The event is free in the Rotary Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
