original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — United Illuminating is reporting a number of power outages Thursday morning after overnight rains continue into the daytime.
As of 9:30 a.m., total of 29 power outages were reported in Fairfield and one in Easton.
A crew has been assigned to the outage in Easton, with restoration expected by 10:50 a.m., UI said.
A crew was on the scene in Fairfield, where the outages have been in force since 3:30 a.m. Restoration was predicted by 11:25 a.m., UI said.
