- Westport police found the body of a missing Fairfield man on Cockeone Island off the coast of Westport late Tuesday night, police said. William Sapone, 61, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

One suspect was in custody and a second was being sought in the April 11 fatal shooting of a 57-year-old Bridgeport man in the grocery store he owns, police and city officials announced Wednesday.
- Agostino Incorvaia, a 47-year-old Danbury man, pleaded guilty to evading federal taxes by not reporting $2.65 million in gross receipts generated by the restaurant, Augie’s Numero #1, to the IRS. He faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $100,000 and must pay $396,650 in back taxes, as well as interest and penalties.
- The Ridgefield Police Department said farewell to Zeus, a retired K-9 officer who served with the department for eight years. The 11-year-old German shepherd was euthanized as a result of his severe degenerative disorder. He took a final ride through town as residents and officers paid tribute to him and his service.
- A Greenwich woman was arrested on charges of using a stroller to help her shoplift items from Saks Fifth Avenue on the Avenue, police said.
- A Stamford man and his New Canaan girlfriend were arrested on charges of assaulting his ex-wife at her home in Stamford and damaging her car, police said.

- A Norwalk man was charged with fighting with a police officer and drug offenses Monday evening after he was spotted with a blunt on a city street, police said.
