Wind gusts that topped 50 mph left hundreds of Connecticut residents in the dark overnight.

As of 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, seven outages were reported by United Illuminated, impacting 430 customers, including 402 in Shelton and five in Stratford.

A total of 170 of Eversource's Connecticut customers were still reporting outages, including some in Fairfield County.
