FAIRFIELD, Conn. Periods of scattered thunderstorms will bookend an otherwise few sunny days this weekend in Fairfield. The forecast calls for storms to roll in Thursday night and possibly Sunday, but in between the weather should be filled with sun and warmth.
Thursdays round of storms is due to begin around 7 p.m. and last until about 9. Temperatures Thursday will be in the high 70s. Storms will disappear by Friday morning, leading to partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80s. Nice weather will continue through Saturday, turning to a 40 percent chance of more storms Sunday through Monday.
