State Begins Resurfacing Work On Route 59 In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Drivers should be alert for resurfacing crews on Route 59 in Fairfield from Sept. 3 through Sept. 13.

Crews will resurface Route 59 from Cornell Road in Fairfield to Route 1 in Bridgeport.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 59. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

The regular work schedule for the project on those days is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
