Showers Could Hit Fairfield Tuesday Evening

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Clouds will move into Fairfield County during the afternoon on Tuesday and will bring a slight chance of showers for the area into the evening hours.

Fairfield could see scattered showers on Tuesday night and into Thursday.

Expect sunshine in the first half of Tuesday with a high of 77 degrees. Clouds will roll in after noon and will bring a 20 percent chance of showers.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will linger in Fairfield through 3 p.m. Wednesday. The chance of rain is 40 percent.

Expect bright, sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-70s throughout the rest of the week and through the weekend.
