Ryan Charles Brennan, a lifelong Fairfield resident, died Feb. 28 at the age of 18 after a battle with cancer. Brennan was three months away from graduating from Fairfield Prep.
Brennan was born Jan. 18, 1993, in Bridgeport. He loved music, skateboarding, traveling with his Dad and best friend Sean Keane, roller coasters, Disney World, Atlantis, and watching movies. He was the honorary chairperson of the American Cancer Societys Relay for Life in Fairfield. He was also captain of Just Beat It, a team in the Walk for Hope last summer for CancerCare.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Tim and Dale Brennan; two sisters, Jodie Delach and her husband, Michael, and Danielle Bartlett and her husband, Michael; a brother, Michael Brennan and his wife, Vivienne, and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1719 Post Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private. Calling hours are Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
