Ashley Madison is a dating website marketed to people in committed relationships who are looking to have affairs. A pair of university students in Canada, where the online dating and social networking site is based, looked at information that had been stolen from the cheating website then posted online for their research, said the Toledo Blade.
The purpose of their study was to find out where men in America who use the site live, said the Toledo Blade.
The information showed that users in Fairfield County led the country with "6.23 Ashley Madison subscriptions per 1,000," according to the report.
Moreover, men in Fairfield County paid the most to use it, $1,127 per 1,000 people, the Toledo Blade said.
