Pope's Itinerary For New York Visit Released

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Pope Francis will visit New York City on Sept. 24, according to his website.

06/30/2015 4:00 p.m.

He will arrive at JFK International Airport at 5 p.m. before attending an evening prayer service at St. Patrick's Cathedral at 6:45 p.m.

Pope Francis will make several stops in New York City on Friday, Sept. 25, including a multi-religious service at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum as well as Mass at Madison Square Garden at 6 p.m.

The Pope then travels to Philadelphia for two days before returning to Rome.
