Up to 500 parking spaces are available at the Bridgeport and Fairfield Metro railroad stations, although most other New Haven Line train stations have lengthy waiting lists for parking permits, the DOT said.  Commuters can now purchase a parking permit for either of the two stations by contacting CTrides at 877-CT-RIDES (877-287-4337) or by email at info@ctrides.com.

CTRides is a program of the Connecticut Department of Transportation designed to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality by providing information and services for driving alternatives.
