The Newtown Legislative Council voted Wednesday night to tear down the home at 36 Yogananda St., the home of Adam Lanza. He killed 20 first-graders and six educators on Dec. 14, 2012.
The story said the colonial-style home built in 1998 was assessed at $368,540 in 2012, according to town property records. The town acquired the property in December.
