Mini-Heat Wave, Storm Chance Will End Fairfield's Week

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County will have one last day of higher-than-average temperatures before the threat of isolated storms moves in for the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will remain partly sunny with temperatures around 81 degrees. 

But clouds will move in overnight and remain on Saturday. Storms could threaten the area in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 30 percent, the National Weather Service said. 

Sunday will be much cooler, with partly sunny skies and a high of 78 degrees. 

Expect the same on Monday with highs of about 75.
