The cuts included about $11 million of salary reductions and at least $9.7 million from programs for the developmentally disabled, the Post said.
Other programs affected included nonprofit programs like the Discovery Museum, the Beardsley Zoo and the Barnum Museum of Bridgeport, reported the Connecticut Post.
Malloy held a closed-door meeting with legislators on Wednesday, calling it a "bump and run" and a start to dealing with the state's projected $900 million 2016-17 budget deficit, the Post said.
