MADD Honors The Town Of Fairfield For Making Roads Safer

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- On Monday, Dec. 8, the Town of Fairfield will receive a plaque from Mother's Against Drunk Driving in appreciation for its support and dedication to making the roads of Fairfield safer.

On Saturday, Oct. 25, MADD Connecticut hosted the first Annual Fairfield County Walk Like MADD to support its mission of eliminating drunken driving, supporting victims of this violent crime and preventing underage drinking.

The Town of Fairfield and First Selectman Mike Tetreau were extremely instrumental in making the walk a success, MADD said.

Tetreau will be joined at the event by Jennifer Owen, walk manager, MADD, Connecticut State Office, as well as Fairfield Police Lt. Tom Mrozek and the new co-chairs of the walk, Dee Tutka and Jim and Eileen Rotunno.
