A woman who was killed by a Metro-North New Haven Line train Thursday night has been identified, according to the MTA.
Tricia Plotnik, 35, of Milford, was hit around 9 p.m. by a Grand Central-bound train just east of the Milford train station, said MTA spokesman Aaron Donovan.
The incident caused delays, but MTA officials don't believe any criminal activity was involved.
MTA police are investigating the incident, Donovan said.
