? Fairfield celebrated Independence Day this week, with the annual Fireworks Show drawing thousands to Jennings and Penfield Beaches on Thursday.

? Fairfield Police made a series of unusual arrests this week, stopping a shoplifting suspect wanted for an escape charge and charging a teenager with animal cruelty on a lake shore beach.
