Heavy Rains, Flood Watch In Forecast For Fairfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch across Fairfield County as moderate to heavy rain moves into the area over the weekend.

Fairfield County will be under a flood watch all day on Sunday.

The watch has been issued from late Saturday night, March 29, through 8 p.m. Sunday, March 30.

According to the National Weather Service, small streams and urban areas with poor drainage are the areas most at risk under a flood watch.

Fairfield County could receive up to 3 inches of rain over the whole weekend.
