- After 22-year-old Joseph Caputo pleaded not guilty Monday to charges in connection with jumping the White House fence on Thanksgiving Day, he was permitted to return to Stamford to live with his mother until his next court appearance. - A former Wilton woman was the victim of a murder-suicide in her home in Killingworth, police said. Lauren Beebe, 48, was shot to death by her husband, Billy Newman, 57, who then committed suicide, police said.
