FAIRFIELD, Conn. Do you think you can run the town better than the people who are in charge now? Well, heres your chance to try. Elections for Fairfields town government take place in November. And the town Democratic Party has put out an open call for Democrats interested in joining interim First Selectman Michael Tetreau on the party's ticket.
The November elections will decide the towns executive leaders the first selectman and two other members of the Board of Selectmen. There are also spots on the Board of Finance, the Town Plan and Zoning Commission, the Board of Education and other town bodies.
The towns Democrats will gather in an open meeting July 21 at the Board of Educations conference room at 501 Kings Highway E. to name its candidates for Novembers elections.
