Fairfield Woman Hit By Bike In Central Park Is Reportedly Brain Dead

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A Fairfield woman was reportedly left brain dead after she was hit by a bicyclist while she walked in New York City’s Central Park on Thursday afternoon, according to the New York Post.

Jill Tarlov, 59, was in a crosswalk near 63rd Street when cyclist Jason Marshall, 31, came speeding toward her along West Drive and yelled for her to get out of the way, the New York Post said. 

She was taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center where she was declared brain dead, the Post said.

The New York Police Department is investigating the case.
