Fairfield Will See Rain, Patchy Fog Through Wednesday Morning

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- After clouds increased during Tuesday, light rain began to move into the area with rain showers and patchy fog expected to fall on Fairfield County in the evening and into Wednesday.

Light rain is moving into the area before 5 p.m. More rain and fog will move into the area Tuesday night with the best chance of showers coming before 3 a.m. Temperatures will remain above freezing with a low of 35 degrees. 

Gradual clearing will take place on Wednesday, with a high temperature of 51 degrees. 

Thursday will remain sunny but slightly cooler with a high around 46 degrees. 

Clouds will begin to roll in on Friday and could bring with them the threat of rain and snow on Saturday. High temperatures on both days will be in the low 40s. 

Rain could linger in the morning on Sunday with a high of 45 degrees.
