Fairfield Will See Heavy Rain, Wind Thursday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Clouds, rain and heavy winds will roll into Fairfield County on Wednesday night and continue for all of Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

Rain will become likely after midnight with wind gusts up to 25 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

Wet weather will continue Thursday with temperatures climbing only into the mid-60s. Winds will kick up again with gusts reaching 30 mph. The chance of rain is 90 percent.

Sun will return Friday and should remain bright throughout the weekend with temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s.
