Adam Seagull's records were handed over during a brief hearing Tuesday, the first since day care provider Carol Cardillo pleaded not guilty earlier this month to second-degree manslaughter, reckless endangerment and risk of injury to a child.
Also Tuesday, Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin continued the case to Nov. 23, the CT Post says.
Authorities said the baby died March 22 from an overdose of Benadryl. Cardillo, who ran an unlicensed day care operation out of her Edgewood Road home for 11 years, has repeatedly denied giving the child Benadryl, though police say records show she purchased the over-the-counter allergy medicine a week before the death, the CT Post says.
