FAIRFIELD, Conn. A Fairfield man was seriously injured after falling off a ledge into a swimming hole in Newfane, Vt., over the weekend. The Brattleboro Reformer reports that Eliot Reed, 63, slipped and fell 25 feet while walking Saturday morning, causing injuries to his abdomen. He was rushed to a local hospital and expected to make a full recovery. Local police did not suspect foul play in the fall. Check out the full story from the Reformer here.
