Fairfield Man Charged Twice After Fight

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A Fairfield man was charged twice for incidents at a Villa Avenue home early Tuesday morning. Fidias Feliciano, 19, was first issued an infraction for a fight that broke out at a party, and then arrested on suspicion of vandalism at the same house later in the morning, police say.

Police were called to a fight in the backyard of a Villa Avenue home Monday night. Officers found a party with about 15 persons who dispersed when police arrived. They also found three persons suspected on being involved in the fight.

Feliciano was issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance for his role in the fight, police say. Later that morning, police were called back to the same home for another disturbance. Feliciano had reportedly broken one of the house’s windows and was in the process of breaking more when police arrived, according to police reports.

He was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief and breach of the peace. He was held in lieu of a $250 bond and taken to court Tuesday morning.

Christopher Benton, 20, of Villa Avenue was issued infractions for creating a public disturbance and allowing minors to have alcohol on private property. Benton hosted the party, according to police reports. Another Fairfield resident, Ryan Walshe, 20, was also issued an infraction for creating a public disturbance for his role in the fight, police say.
