FAIRFIELD, Conn. --Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau recently appeared on Cablevision’s "Meet the Leaders" to discuss various town issues, including:

  • An update on the Mill River cleanup.
  • Clean energy grants and initiatives that help the environment and save taxpayer dollars.
  • The first statewide summit, at which Tetreau was chosen to serve on along with five other mayors and first selectmen to brainstorm on the best common practices for Connecticut’s economic future. Key policy leaders and stakeholders from the state’s business, government, labor, education and social service sectors also participated in this summit.
  • The Bigelow Center for Senior Activities (formerly the Fairfield Senior Center) on membership growing by the hundreds in the past few years due to more informative and relevant forums, speakers and activities. 

"Meet the Leaders" is a cable-based show featuring mayors and first selectmen discussing local issues. The show featuring Tetreau can be seen on Cablevision’s Channel 84 and airs at 7:45 p.m. Mondays, 6:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays and 8:15 p.m. Fridays through Jan. 3. It also can be viewed here.
