FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County could see potential heavy rainfall Sunday from the remnants of Tropical Depression Bill that could lead to flooding, according to the National Weather Service.

There will be a slight chance of rain Saturday evening before 10 p.m., with a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., followed by showers and a possible thunderstorm after 4 a.m. Sunday morning. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Rainfall amounts could total between a quarter and half an inch.

There is a chance of thunderstorms Sunday; some storms could produce heavy rainfall. Highs will reach near 80. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Rainfall amounts on Sunday could be between a half and three quarters of an inch.
