Fairfield Could See Heat Wave Starting Saturday

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County will likely see a heat wave – three straight days of 90-degree temperatures or higher – come into the area starting Saturday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 89. There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

Saturday night will see a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m. Low around 67.

Sunday will be sunny with a high near 88, low around 69.

Monday will be sunny and hot, with a high near 91 and a low around 70.

Hot temps will continue Tuesday with sunny skies and a high near 90.
