A Fairfield homeowner left her house for less than three hours Wednesday. But it was long enough for burglars to take thousands of dollars worth of electronics, jewelry and cash from her Donna Drive home.

The homeowner told police she left at 11:15 a.m., and when she returned just after 2 p.m., she found the door had been pried open. Two 40-inch TVs, a 52-inch TV, a 20-inch iMac laptop, a 13-inch Mac computer, a Flip camcorder, an HP printer, an external hard drive, jewelry and at least $700 in cash we all missing. The Fairfield Police's Detective Bureau was still investigating the break-in.
