FAIRFIELD, Conn. An unusual burglary was reported on Fairfield Beach Road Wednesday. The suspects entered a home while the residents were asleep, but didnt take anything except pieces of the ceiling.
The Fairfield Beach Road residents told police that sometime between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. Wednesday their garage was entered. Three holes were cut out of the garage ceiling.
The residents said they heard what could have been power saws at some point overnight, but assumed it was work at another house and went back to sleep. Police are looking into possible suspects in the neighborhood.

? Approximately $600 worth of cooking oil was stolen from Five Guys restaurant on Grasmere Avenue Wednesday. Employees at the newly opened burger joint told police that the used oil appeared to have been siphoned from a container in the buildings back storage area.
? The manager at Whole Foods Market on Grasmere Avenue called police to report that four bags of a white powder were found in the stores aisles Wednesday. The substance tested positive for cocaine. Police are trying to determine who left the bags in the store.
