Black Ice Advisory Issued For Fairfield

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- After a day of rain and mixed precipitation, motorists in Fairfield County should be aware of spots of patchy black ice on roadways on Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

With temperatures only expected to reach into the 20s, patches of black ice will remain on road surfaces into the afternoon and evening commute, especially on untreated surfaces.

Drivers are reminded to take extra care while driving under these conditions.
