American Flag Stolen From Fairfield Little League

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – An American flag was reported stolen from the Fairfield National Little League sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

The Little League’s president told Fairfield Police Thursday that the flag had been flying above the upper fields at Tunxis Hill Park on Melville Drive. When he checked the field that morning it appeared that someone had cut the rope holding the flag and the flag was missing.

Anyone with information on the theft should contact Fairfield Police at 203-254-4800.
