Volunteers Needed At Fairfield Women's Exchange In Southport

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Women's Exchange is looking for volunteers.

The nonprofit gift shop at 332 Pequot Ave. in Southport needs volunteers. All proceeds from the shop are donated to local agencies that support women and children in need. Shop items include baby and children's gifts, hostess gifts, women's and men's accessories, antiques, art and food items.

As an all-volunteer organization, the Fairfield Women's Exchange is in need of new volunteers in the shop. Shifts are 3.5 hours every other week.

Those who have a few hours to support a the local cause are asked to call 203-259-5138 or visit the Fairfield Women's Exchange website.
